Davis recognized for 40+ years of service
The Pittsburg Meals on Wheels Board of Directors recognized Karen Davis for 42 years of service, including 16 years as director and 14 years as Chairwoman. Her dedication to this community service has played an integral part of "keeping the wheels rolling" for Meals on Wheels.

PITTSBURG, Kan. —During the month of April 2026, 797 meals were delivered to the elderly and disabled in Pittsburg. Mercy Hospital Nutritional Services prepares the meals. Special diets are available upon request.

The weekly drivers are: Rick Shaw, Karen and Elwyn Davis, Kathy Rosenblad, Russ Jewitt, Greg Ward, Jane Park, Jamie and Becky Canada, Kathy Hallacy, Mary Cashero, Theresa Noland, Bob Backes, Glen Harvey, Diann Mazurek, Jeanette Nepote, Cynthia Pfannenstiel, Bob Tomassi, Dave and Barbara Loiselle, Larry Miller and Steve Drenick.

We need regular and substitute drivers.
